John Leslie Miller, 59, of LaFayette, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2025. He was born to the late George V. and Dora Roseland Miller in Fayette County, West Virginia. John had lived most of his life in West Virginia but in 2013 he moved to LaFayette and he would live in this area for the remainder of his life. John enjoyed watching NASCAR and he loved his dog, Lucy. John dearly loved his family. He had a huge heart for helping people and he was the caregiver to many in his family. He was always happy to help anyone. John was a caring, and kind-hearted person and he will be dearly missed by his family and all who knew him.

John is preceded in death by his parents, George V. and Dora Roseland Miller; sister, Sharon Ellison; and brother, Jessie Withrow.

Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Jonathan Miller of Union, South Carolina; brother, Steve (Joann) Withrow of Cowpens, South Carolina; sisters, Kimberly Pearson of LaFayette, Georgia, Karen (Robert) Pleasanton of Dunlap, Tennessee, and Cara (Danny) Thomas of Oak Hill, West Virginia; and granddaughter, Jada Miller.
