Joseph “Joe” Edward Middleton, age 76, of Tunnel Hill, Georgia passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2025. He resided most of his life in Chattanooga, Tennessee and has resided in Tunnel Hill for the last 28 years. Joe was a Christian and loved spending time with his family. He was a gifted artist and used his ability to illustrate billboards for Spectra National for thirty years, nine months, and two days. Along with billboards, Joe also painted murals, posters, and cards. During his free time, he enjoyed watching NASCAR and spending time with his dog, Cesar.
He is preceded in death by his parents, J.B. Middleton and Louise Jones Middleton; stepson, Stacy Combs; step grandson, Jeremiah Combs, as well as his sister, Anita Harris.
Joe is survived by his wife of thirty-one years, Rosalyn Combs Middleton; children, Angela Middleton, Hannah (Jason) Williams, Sarah (Duane) Eaker, Rebekah Baeza, Joseph Van Middleton, step children, Scott Combs, Shelly Warren; grandchildren, Amber Vick, Jordan McCamish, Olivia McCamish, Jorja Eaker, Ethan Joyce, Julia Williams, Cameron Baeza, Maddie Baeza, Parker Baeza; step grandchildren, Zachary Combs, Vivian Warren, Braxton Warren, step great grandsons, Jackson and Gabriel; as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 12:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, in the Wilson Funeral Homes Wallis ~ Stewart Chapel.
