Joseph “Joe” Fay McRobie age 90, of Tunnel Hill, Georgia went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 30, 2025. He had resided in Tunnel Hill for the last twenty-seven years and was of the Pentecostal Faith. Joe proudly served in the United States Marines for four years and retired from Pipefitters Union and Norshipco. Through his work and vacation, Joe traveled all across the United States with his family. He enjoyed watching nature and had a passion and talent for building racecars.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Guy Carl McRobie and Lena Males McRobie, twelve siblings, as well as his close friend, Charles Steele.
Joe is survived by his loving wife of sixty nine years, Brenda Lilley McRobie; their children, Steven W. McRobie, John Carl McRobie, Brian K. McRobie, Sandra Douglas and Teresa Gardner as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Joe is also survived by his close friend Debbie Steele.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
