Joyce Carolyn Langston Whittemore, 71 of Ringgold, passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2023. She was a lifelong resident of Ringgold, Georgia and worked at Treasures Academy. Joyce enjoyed taking trips to the casino and loved being around her family. She also loved working at Treasures Academy and was selfless, giving, and caring. She is preceded in death by her husband, John Franklin Whittemore; parents, Clarence Edward Langston and Vertle Lee Land Langston; sister, Thelma McCorkle; brothers, Edward Langston and Howard Langston. She was survived by her children, Cindy McNeese, Ricky Whittemore, Stephanie (Clint) Wallace; grandchildren, Crystal (Bryan) Grillone, Amy Wells, Lara McNeese, Cody McNeese, Felicia (Brent) Lovern, Johnathon Whittemore, Keegan Holloway, Emma Holloway, Ellie Holloway, Erin (Tyler) Carroll; as well as several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday prior to the service.
