Juanita Campbell Prince, age 83, resident of Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia and former resident of Chickamauga, passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2025.
Mrs. Prince, daughter of the late Marion Clyde Campbell and Hazel Ozela Johnson Campbell, was born July 11, 1941 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She was Church of God by faith and retired from Turnbull Cone Baking Company where she faithfully worked for over 30 years. Mrs. Prince was an avid shopper. When at home, she would be seen working jigsaw puzzles or rocking on her front porch. She enjoyed watching Christmas movies and listening to Southern Gospel Music (particularly the Gaither Vocal Band).
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Joseph Fitzgerald, Clarence Fitzgerald, Robert Campbell, and Marion Clyde Campbell, Jr.; and four sisters, Bertha Boydston, Barbara Gamble, Ann Doss, and Sue Thomas.
Mrs. Prince is survived by two sisters, Marvetta Owens and Virginia Jackson; numerous nieces and nephews; many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at the Chapel of W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home, 555 West Cloud Springs Road, Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia on Friday, June 20, 2025 at 2 p.m. with Chaplain Ronnie Chandler officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Friday, June 20, 2025 from 12 noon till 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens South Cemetery, 325 Green Lake Road, Rossville, Georgia.
