Judy Carroll Bost Brockman
January 17, 1944 - October 29, 2025
Judy Carroll Brockman, 81, passed peacefully at her home on October 29, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

A lifelong resident of Chattanooga, Judy graduated from Kirkman High School in 1961. She was one of five “Bost girls,” the beloved daughter of Katie Whalena Brown and Jeff Vinson Bost.

Judy was preceded in death by her devoted husband, James “Buck” Brockman; her sisters Brenda Bost and Virginia Arnold, whom she lovingly cared for during their final season of life.

Judy was truly a caretaker at heart. She found her greatest joy in serving others—whether tending to her yard, preparing home-cooked meals, or welcoming family and friends into her home. Her kindness, warmth, and hospitality made her house a gathering place for all who loved her.

Judy’s legacy of love, service, and compassion will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

She is survived by her sisters, Leslie Lynn (Sheldon) Hall and Bobbie Bost; nieces Annette Johnson, Buddy (Tammy) Arnold, Jerry (Summer) Garrison, Kim (Chip) Carter, and Jeff (Chasity) Duncan; and several great-nieces and nephews who cherished her deeply.

Judy was a faithful member of Shields Baptist Church. There was not a song in the Red Back Hymnal that she did not know by heart.

A small graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at Lakewood Memory Gardens South, with Jeff Duncan and Rev. Bill Proctor officiating.
