Judy Lamb PaceSummerville

Judy Lamb Pace, 78, of Summerville, went home to be with the Lord on August 20, 2025. A lifelong resident of the area, Judy spent most of her adult life on Lookout Mountain before settling in Summerville.

She was a devoted member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and faithfully dedicated to her husband and to the Lord. Judy dearly loved her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Family and church gatherings brought her the greatest joy, and Christmas was her favorite time of year when everyone could be together. A talented master gardener, she especially loved working with flowers.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Irby and Frances Lamb; sister, Neveda Lamb; in-laws, Alice and Tom Pace; and infant siblings.

Judy is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Roscoe Pace; children, Kelly Jo (Jeff) Arrington, Wayne (Kari) Pace, Shane (Shannon) Pace, and Vance (Angela) Pace; siblings, Pat Hall and Garry (Pattie) Lamb; nine grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Mt. Olive Cemetery on Lookout Mountain on Vulcan Rd., with Pastor Gary Wells officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. prior to the service in the parlor of Wilson Funeral Home Ft. Oglethorpe Ga.
