June Elizabeth Brown, age 96 of East Ridge, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday June 21, 2023. She attended Brainer Baptist Church and was member of the Friendship Sunday School Class. She attended Emory and Henry College in Emory, Virginia. She retired in 1986 from Provident Life and Accident Insurance Company after 34 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her husband of over 60 years, Don Brown; parents, Charles and Elizabeth Rice; and brothers, Joe R. rice, Bob Rice and Bill Rice.
Those left to cherish her memory include her sister, Mary Anne Rice Carter of Roswell, GA; as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
The family will receive friends 10am until 12:30pm Thursday June 29, 2023 at the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel of Wilson Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will follow at 12:30pm in the Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Jeff Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
