Karen Lanette ParkersonRossville

Karen Lanette Parkerson, age 59, of Rossville, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 5, 2025. She was born in Fort Oglethorpe and was a lifelong resident of Rossville.
Karen was employed at Patriot Services in Chattanooga and was a member of the Christian faith. Known for her outgoing personality, Karen had a special gift for making others feel welcome. She never met a stranger and always took the time to listen to anyone who needed a friend.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Carrol Parkerson; her uncle, Jackie Parkerson; and her grandparents, Johnie C. & Bertha Edith Hall Parkerson and John & Pauline Renehan.
Karen is survived by her father, Mickey Parkerson; her sister, Jeana (Zach) Lee; her aunt, Virginia Simpson; her nieces and nephews, Aiden and Sophia; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, July 12, 2025, in the funeral home chapel, with Bro. Steven Simpson officiating.
Arrangements are by W. L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home, Fort Oglethorpe.
