Kathryn Ann Hudgens Chitty, 88 of Ringgold, passed away on Wednesday, May 31, 2023. She lived most of her life in the North Georgia area and was a member of Calvary Memorial Baptist Church. Kathryn was religious, caring, loving, and thoughtful. She enjoyed, coloring, sewing, cooking, and crocheting. She is preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Chitty; parents, Hugh Cecil Hudgens Sr. and Bernie Clements Hudgens; brothers, Charles Hudgens, Hugh C. Hudgens Jr., Demas Hudgens; son-in-law, James Ford; stepmother, Ola Mae Hudgens. She was survived by her daughters, Donna (Guy) Tatum, Teresa (Steve) Price, Brenda Ford, five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Monday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 in the Chattanooga National Cemetery with Pastor Eric Greeson officiating.
