Ken ThomasRock Spring, GA

Ken Thomas of Rock Spring, went home to be with the Lord Saturday September 9, 2023 at his home.  He was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga and North Georgia area and was a son of the late Frank Eddison Thomas and Mary Katherine Evitt Thomas.  Ken was the Owner of Ken Thomas Trucking Inc for more than 18 years and was a member of the Peavine Baptist Church.

Survivors are his loving wife of 55 years Nancy Dobbins Thomas; son William ( Amanda ) Thomas of Fort Oglethorpe; daughter Brenda ( Chris ) Triplett of Waynesville, NC;

Brother Roger D. Thomas of Chattanooga and a sister Sharon ( Pete ) Pedigo of Ringgold; grandchildren Caroline and Evangeline Thomas. Several cousins also survive.

Funeral Services honoring the life of Mr. Thomas will be conducted 11:30 AM Wednesday at the Peavine Baptist Church with Bro. Denny Patrick officiating.

The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service at the church.

Interment will at 1:30pm in  Chattanooga National Cemetery

The will receive friends from 4-8 PM Tuesday at Heritage Funeral Home and Crematory, Battlefield Parkway.
