Kevin James Denton age 48, of Ringgold, Georgia passed away on Monday, April 10, 2023 at a local hospital. He was a lifelong resident of the Northwest Georgia area and a former employee of Chattanooga Armature Works. Kevin’s greatest joy and love was his daughter Miracle Snow. She brought a happiness to his life that was unconditional and incomparable. Kevin had a kind, compassionate and loving soul with a talented and remarkable gift at playing bass guitar, piano and singing. Formally Kevin enjoyed playing in the Praise Band at Shiloh Baptist Church in Rossville, Georgia for several years and also in the Christian band Covered in Scars. Kevin was a loving father, son, brother and husband. He was also an avid Georgia Bulldawgs fan. He is preceded in death by his grandparents: James and Marie Hullender, and Charles and Ruth Denton. Kevin is survived by his daughter: Miracle Snow Denton of Chickamauga, Georgia. Wife: Susan Denton of Dalton, Georgia. Parents: David and Joan Denton of Ringgold, Georgia, step-children: Coty Peardon, Charity (Jeff) Bowman all of Chickamauga, Georgia and brothers: Aaron and Adam Denton of Ringgold, Georgia. A Celebration and Memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm - Sunday, April 16, 2023 in the Wallis-Stewart Chapel of Wilson Funeral Homes in Ringgold, Georgia.
