Lexie Castle HigdonRossville

Lexie Castle Higdon, age 87 of Rossville, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 20, 2025. She was born to the late Marshal Castle and Elizabeth Daniel Castle in Lawrenceville, Kentucky, lived most of her life in the North Georgia Area and was a member of the Lookout Mountain Missionary Baptist Church. Lexie retired from Shaw Ind. in 2003 after more than 30 years and was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend who will be greatly missed. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Russell Higdon Jr.; and daughter, Rosalie Higdon. Lexie is survived by her loving children, Nancy Ann (Rocky) Roberts and Joseph Edward (Patricia) Higdon; grandchildren, Holly Dowis, Michael Roberts, Katie Barnes, Junior Neal and Stacy Scott; great grandchildren, Jacob Dowis, Ryan Dowis, Keely Roberts, Brair Barnes, and numerous other great grandchildren. The graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 22, 2025 in Mount Olive Cemetery, with Pastor Alvin Cummings officiating. Arrangements by Wilson Funeral Home-J.
