Lina “Maggie” Brown, age 95, resident of Lookout Mountain, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2025.
Mrs. Brown, daughter of the late Jones Elmer Lindsey and Troy Finley Lindsey, was born May 28, 1930 in Dawson, Alabama. She was a longtime member of Flintstone Baptist Church and had worked over 23 years at Cutter Laboratories until she retired. Mrs. Brown enjoyed traveling to Tennessee Volunteer football games. While at home, she spent many hours gardening. She also looked forwarded to watching Atlanta Braves baseball. The family remembers her as an avid sports fan.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Louis Brown.
She is survived by her daughter, Connie (Jerry) Stephens; son, Steve (Kathleen) Graham; grandchildren, Todd (Amy) Stephens, Wade (Shelly) Stephens, and Devon Newbold; great-grandchildren, Ben, Wil, and Jack Stephens; numerous nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
Private services will be held at a later date.
