Linda Arlene Phillips, age 67 of Chickamauga, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday July 5, 2023. She was a lifelong resident of the North Georgia area and member of Chattanooga Valley Baptist Church, where she served as a keyboardist for over 30 years. She was a retired Elementary School Teacher and loved to shop. Most of all, she absolutely addored her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arnold and Louise Paris and her first husband, James Johnson.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 12 years, Lebron Phillips; children, Dustin Johnson (Sarah), Crystal Avakian (John) and Nick Phillips (Emily); brother, Phil Paris (Kathy); six grandchildren, Draven Lowman, Axton Johnson, Olivia Johnson, Avery Avakian, Adalie Phillips, and Cameron Phillips; niece, Erica Paris (Kyle Maxwell); great nieces and nephew, Sydney Paris and Jack Maxwell; numerous extended family and many friends.
Visitation will be 11am until 2 pm Saturday July 8, 2023 at Chattanooga Valley Baptist Church followed by a 2pm Funeral Service. Pastor Terry Burns, Ronnie Flemming and Pastor Brian Carroll officiating. Interment will follow at Lookout Baptist Church Cemetery.
