Linda Dale Brooks Hardin, age 83, of Tunnel Hill, Georgia, passed away Monday, August 19, 2024. She was born in Rossville, Georgia, to the late Leland Farris and Edna Mason Brooks. She was a lifelong resident of northwest Georgia and was of the Baptist faith. She retired from KFC after many years of serving the public. Linda always enjoyed going to church and visiting with her church family. She loved her family and always enjoyed cooking for them and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her family dearly loved Linda, and she will be missed.

Along with her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her loving husband of forty-seven years, Phillip Hardin; siblings, Toni Elder, Betty Moore, and Bill Brooks; and daughter, Lolita Crowder.

She is survived by her children: Danny Bowman of Rock Spring, Georgia; Elizabeth (Paul) O’Neal of Chattanooga, Tennessee; Steven (Tina) Hodge of Chattanooga, Tennessee; Phillip “Dale” (Kimberly) Hardin of Tunnel Hill, Georgia; Gregg (Gay) Hardin of Ringgold, Georgia; William L. (Kristie) Hardin of Kensington, Georgia, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday, August 22, 2024, and 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on Friday, August 23, 2024. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, August 23, 2024, in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Dennis Ray officiating. Interment will follow in Garmany Cemetery – Kensington, Georgia.
