Louetta Phillips Howard, age 66, of Rock Spring, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2025.
A lifelong resident of North Georgia, Louetta will be remembered for her generous heart and her spirited personality. She found joy in cooking and watching her favorite cooking shows, as well as tending to her flower garden. Some of her happiest moments were spent camping at Harrison Bay State Park alongside her beloved husband.
Louetta is preceded in death by her mother, Priscilla Phillips; father, Hubert Phillips; daughter, Krissy Layne; sister, Carolyn Williams; brothers, Henderson Phillips and Harold Phillips.
She is survived by her loving husband, Ronald Howard; daughter, Melissa White; grandchildren, Kayla (Bryce) Thacker, Taylor Layne, Jacob Layne; great grandson, Reece Thacker; sisters, Louise Phillips, Lois Nahabedian; brothers, Jerry Phillips, Lorenzo Phillips and Glenn Phillips.
The family will receive friends on Monday, September 29, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
