Marvin “Mike” Michael Record, age 79, of Rossville, Georgia, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, August 2, 2025. Born in Chattanooga to the late William Record and Crystal Blevins Record, Mike was a lifelong resident of the Ringgold area and a faithful member of the Christian faith.
A proud veteran, Mike honorably served his country in the U.S. Army National Guard. He retired from Kennesaw Transportation in 2010, concluding more than nine years of dedicated service. Known for his generous heart and unwavering love for his family, Mike was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, and cherished friend. His kindness and legacy will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Nelva Wright, Steve Record, and Henley Record.
Left to honor his memory are his beloved wife of 42 years, Ann Record; children, Mike (Angie) Record, Christy (Doug) Evans, and Dena (Brian) Newsome; ten grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; honorary daughter, Nikki (Scott) Vandergriff; and many loving nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at Anderson Memorial Gardens, officiated by Pastor Heath Jones. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and again prior to the service on Wednesday.
