Margaret Faye Graham, 96, of Rossville, Georgia, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, August 11, 2024. She was born in Carbondale, Georgia, to the late Floyd and Lonna McClurd. Margaret was a lifelong Northwest Georgia resident and a member of Canaan Baptist Church in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Margaret loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and she enjoyed being active in the Ladies Ministry at her church. Everyone loved Margaret, and she was known to everyone as “Nanny.” Nanny loved her family and always enjoyed cooking and making her famous sweet tea for them to enjoy. In her earlier years, Nanny enjoyed fishing, gardening, birdwatching on the porch, and walking in the Chickamauga Battlefield. Nanny was greatly loved by her family, and she will be missed.

Margaret is preceded in death by her loving husband, Roy Graham; parents, Floyd John and Lonna L. McClurd; daughter Patricia Brackett; and son, Alan Graham.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, David Graham and Larry (Tammi) Graham, both of Rossville, Georgia; sister, Kitty (Roy) Walker of Rome, Georgia; eleven grandchildren; thirty-five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

The family has arranged for a time to remember and honor Nanny. Friends and family are invited to join us on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Thursday, August 15, 2024 from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. The funeral service, a time to celebrate Nanny’s life, will be held on Thursday, August 15, 2024, at 11 a.m., with Pastor Joe Gill officiating. Following the service, we will proceed to Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park in Rossville, Georgia, for the burial. The family appreciates your prayers and support during this difficult time.
