Marlene Clark Wrinkle, 83, of Ringgold, Georgia, passed away at a local hospital on Thursday, September 18, 2025. She was a loving wife, mother, Granny, sister, aunt, cousin and friend.
Marlene, daughter of the late William Jackson “Lefty” Clark and Irene Stephens Clark, was born September 5, 1942 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred P. Wrinkle; son, Perry Wrinkle; brothers, Paul, Larry, and Jack Clark; sister, Shirley Clark Lockwood; and grandson, Donny Rogers Jr.
Marlene was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area. She was a member of Oakwood Baptist Church. Marlene loved shopping, particularly with her daughter Tina. While at home, she always made sure everything was organized and clean. Many would see her spending time on her IPAD, keeping up with local and world news/events. Marlene enjoyed watching her favorite shows on television. Most of all, she looked forward to spending time with her kids and grandkids. The family remembers her as a lady who was a precious mother that loved deeply, and was always compassionate to others.
Marlene is survived by her children, Tina (Donny) Rogers and Doug (Suzanne) Wrinkle; grandchildren, Jamie Rogers Ford, Kristen (Brad) Burcham, Jova, Kena, Kiya, and Nola Wrinkle; great-grandchildren, Tristan and Gavin Ford, Blaine, Bryce, and Addie Burcham; brother, Garry Clark; sister-in-law, Dora Mae "Dodie" Davis; many special cousins; nieces; nephews; other family members; and friends.
Graveside services will be held at Tennessee Georgia Memorial Park, 724 Hogan Road, Rossville, Georgia on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, 11 a.m. with Reverend Randy Crawford officiating.
The family will receive friends at Wilson Funeral Home Wallis-Stewart Chapel, 443 Boynton Drive, Ringgold, Georgia on Monday, September 22, 2025 from 3-7 p.m.
The family would like to extend their appreciation towards the doctors and nurses at Parkridge Hospital Downtown for taking such good care of her.
