Marvin R. Quinn age 94, a life-long resident of Apison, TN a dedicated member to Wesleyann Baptist Church and a devoted child of God who loved preaching and singing about his Savior and loved spending time with all his many family members. passed away peacefully in his home December 26th 2025. surrounded by family. He leaves behind his wife of 71 years Willie Quinn, children Reba (Dale) McGowan, Ralph (Tammy) Quinn, Reginald (Patty) Quinn, nine grandchildren: Tracey Hanley, Barbara Bishop, Danny Jenkins, Robert Quinn, Elizabeth White, Matthew Quinn, Isaiah Quinn, Patrick Quinn, and Lyndsay Quinn, nineteen great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mr. Quinn was a cabinet maker for over 45 years, retiring from Collegedale Caseworks. He enjoyed fishing, walking, and going to cottage prayer meetings. While at home, many would see him watching birds and trains passing by while he drank his morning coffee. He enjoyed listening to Southern Gospel and Blue Grass Gospel music and reading his bible. Most of all, he looked forward to spending quality time with his family. The family remembers him as a Godly man who served the Lord. He is preceded in death by his mother Daisy Quinn, father Robert (Bud) Quinn brother Earl Quinn sister Mary Carter daughter Ressie Quinn and great granddaughter Aurora Quinn. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM and also prior to the service on Tuesday from 12 noon -2:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at the Wilson Funeral Homes - Wallis-Stewart Chapel at 2:00 PM - Tuesday, December 30, 2025 with Reverend Johnny Ware, Reverend Todd Poteet and Reverend Justin Akins officiating.
