Mary Jo Sitton, 64, of Flintstone, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2025. Mary was born in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Robert and Mavis Miller. She has lived in the Northwest Georgia area for the last forty-one years and was of the Baptist faith. Mary was an avid gardener who loved to plant flowers and tend to her plants, and she enjoyed being a caregiver, always looking for ways to help people. Above all, Mary treasured her family and her constant furry companion, Patty, and enjoyed every moment with them. Loved by all who knew her, she will be genuinely missed.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Mills Lamar Sitton; parents, Robert and Mavis Miller; brother, Robert E. Miller, and great-granddaughter, Addison.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Summer (Kevin) Edmondson of Flintstone, Georgia; sisters, Ann Hunter of Chickamauga, Georgia, and Kathi Haney of Dahlonega, Georgia; brother, Fred Miller of Jacksonville, Florida; grandchildren, Matthew Edmondson and Hannah Edmondson; great-grandchildren, Eleanor, Axton, Brayleigh, Laramie, Knox, Colt, and Mattilyne; nieces and nephews, Tommy, Travis, Holly, Matt, Lisa, Krystal, and Kory.
