Mary Love Jumper, age 89, of LaFayette passed away on Friday, March 7, 2025.
She retired from the Walker County Board of Education where she was an educator for many years.
Mary was preceded in death by her son, Steven Jumper; brother, Thomas Johnson; and sisters, Sissy Hill and Charlotte Mead.
She is survived by her daughter, Kimi Crump; sons, Jerran and Brian Jumper; grandchildren, Justin Jumper, Brittany Crump, Kaitie Jumper, and Brookelyn Crump; several great grandchildren; sisters, Elois Storey, Joyce Pannell, and Gail Johnson; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 13, in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel.
Interment will take place at the LaFayette City Cemetery.
A visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
