Mary “Margie” Warren Dockery

Mary “Margie” Warren Dockery, 91, of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, May 23, 2023. She was born in Trussville, Alabama on May 31, 1931, to the late, Wesson Warren & Vana Morris Harris and had lived in the Rossville area for most of her life. She was a member of Elizabeth Terrace Baptist Church and loved spending time with her church family. Her main priority in life was living a life completely devoted to Jesus Christ and taking care of her family & friends. She was always going above and beyond for anyone in need and being a servant of God on a daily basis. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother and friend that will be truly missed by all who knew her. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas P. Dockery; 3 sisters and 4 brothers.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Nancy & (Bo) Ellis, David & (Cynthia) Dockery, Jinna & (Alan) Neal and Mary Anne & (John) McDonough; 11 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren and numerous extended family & friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Friday, May 26, 2023, in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel. Burial will follow in the Chattanooga National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 – 8 p.m. on Thursday and prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.
