Mary “Missy” Ellen EavesRossville

Mary “Missy” Ellen Eaves, 73, of Rossville, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, May 7, 2025. She was born to the late Harold and Margaret Frix in Cleveland, Tennessee. Missy was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga and Northwest Georgia area and was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Rossville, Georgia. Missy was an avid reader, always enjoying a good murder-mystery book and anything written by Stephen King or about World War II history. She also enjoyed swimming, spending time by the pool, and socializing with friends and family. Family holiday gatherings were her favorite times. Missy loved the Lord and was strong in her faith, and she greatly enjoyed listening to Vestal Goodman and the Gaither Homecoming videos. Missy loved her family and enjoyed an extremely close bond with each of them. Missy was a very loving, sweet, kind-hearted person and will be dearly missed by her family and all who knew her.

Missy is preceded in death by her parents, Harold Manning and Margaret Louise Frix; and siblings, Butch Frix, David Frix, Dean Frix, Cheryl Frix, and Danny Frix.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of fifty-six years, Guy Eaves; sons, Michael Eaves of Chattanooga, Tennessee, and Nathan Eaves of Rossville, Georgia; grandchildren, Ashley Long, Max Eaves, and Gabe Eaves; great-grandchild, Ashtin Long; and several nieces and nephews.

The family has arranged a time to remember and honor Missy. Friends and family are invited to join us on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The funeral service, a celebration of Missy’s life, will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. Following the service, we will proceed to Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park, 724 Hogan Road, Rossville, Georgia, for the burial. The family appreciates your prayers and support during this difficult time.
