Matthew “Matt” Lee Goodwin, age 50, of LaFayette passed away Friday, April 11, 2025.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Charles Goodwin and Cordie Louise VanHorn Goodwin; and sister, Peggy Michelle Goodwin.
Matt is survived by his brother, Donald Wayne Goodwin; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and close friend, Charlene Jacobs.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 15, in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel.
Interment will take place at Crestlawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held from 12 p.m. to the hour of service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
