Michael Edwin Brown, 81, of Flintstone went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, September 11, 2023 at his home. He was born on September 14, 1941 in Rossville, Georgia to the late Clarence and Dorothy Brown. Mr. Brown was a structural steel engineer. He had always been a provider for his family and a hard worker. He had been a member and active Deacon at Valley View Baptist Church where he was the benevolence director. Mr. Brown had been an ordained Deacon for over 50 years. Michael was saved at a young age, loved the Lord and loved going to church!

Survivors include his loving wife of 62 years, Pat Brown; son Jeff (Belinda) Brown and his grandson, whom he loved spending time with and was the light of his life, Colton Brown.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Officer Terry Abbott, Hearth Hospice, all the members of Valley View Baptist Church; along with Vicki Williams and Linda Farley for all their love and care.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM Wednesday at Valley View Baptist Church with Pastor Jeff Brown and Bro. Frank Frejeran officiating.

Interment will be at 11:00 AM Thursday at Lakewood Memory Gardens, South with Pastor Ray Wrinkle speaking.

The family will receive friends 12-7 PM Wednesday at Valley View Baptist Church.
