August 19, 1965 - February 6, 2025
Michael Eric Taylor died February 6, 2025 at a local hospital. Eric was born August 18, 1965 and lived his whole life in Chickamauga, Georgia. He loved being outside hunting and fishing. Eric was a member of Five Points Baptist Church, in Ider, Alabama.
He is survived by his two children Erica and Zackary, two granddaughters Kirsten and Madison, his mother and step-father Jerris and Greg Lane, brother and sister-in-law Marty and Heatherly Taylor, uncle Frank McGill, Jr., niece and nephew Patience Moore and Seth Taylor, and two very special friends Cindy and Priscilla.
Eric was predeceased by his father Michael Taylor, grandparents Hoyt and LeErle Taylor and Frank and Evelyn McGill.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 8, 2025 in the Chickamauga City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday and prior to leaving for the cemetery on Saturday. Arrangements by Wilson Funeral Home-J. Avery Bryan Chapel, Chickamauga.
