Michael Todd Hatchett, age 51, of Villanow passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2023.
He was preceded in death by his beloved niece, Amanda Hatchett Almy of Villanow; maternal grandparents, Charles and Maxine Solomon of Winchester, Tenn.; paternal grandparents; Lem and Addie Hatchett of Winchester, Tenn.; and aunts and uncles; Odell (Darwin) Durham, Jean (Eddie) Maurer, and Charlotte (Brent) Gibson.
Mike (Todd) was a loving guy with a big heart. He loved music of all kinds; especially if the lyrics were deep and held meaning, he loved riding his motorcycle, water skiing, and camping outdoors. He was there for people he cared about no matter the circumstances and would help any person in need. He found joy in the simple things in life, had a passion for family, and never judged anyone. If you knew him, you called him a friend.
He is survived by his parents, William (Claude) and Faye Hatchett of Villanow; brother, William (Randall) and wife Catherine Hatchett of Villanow; sister, Deborah Kisner and husband Michael of Villanow with whom he resided; son, Tyler of Rome, Ga; great niece, Jordan Almy of Perry, Ga; paternal aunt, Loraine Bailey of Carrollton, Ga; and numerous cousins and friends.
The funeral service will be held 4 p.m. Sunday, May 21, in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel.
Interment will take place 1 p.m. (CST) Monday, May 22, at Harmony Presbyterian Cemetery in Winchester, Tennessee.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:30 p.m. to the service hour.
