Michelle Lee Blackwell

Michelle Lee Blackwell (Rhonda Michelle Blackwell), age 55, passed away in the early hours of 03-16-2025 surrounded by her family who miss her dearly. Michelle was born to Bill & Sandra Lee on November 7, 1969. Michelle graduated from Kirkman Technical High School and went on to get her Associates Degree as a Pharmacy Tech. Michelle was of Baptist Faith. She was compassionate, loving and always willing to help anyone and everyone. She did not know the word No! Michelle loved fishing, watching Westerns (esp The Hateful Eight & Gunsmoke), Camping (Esp in Bryson City, NC. With the Holcomb’s) playing BINGO on her cell and her latest addition was Storage Units (thanks to her brother-n-law Jason).
Words cannot express the devastation in our hearts over the loss of our beloved Daughter, Sister, Mom, Aunt, cousin, and friend Michelle Blackwell.

She is preceded in death by her Mother Sandra Gayle Lee, Aunt Shiela Graben, Brothers George Chipper Chase, and Christopher Shane Chase.

She is survived by her son Kirk Blackwell, daughter Sidney Blackwell, the Greatest love of her life, her grandson Kayden Roach, her father Billy (Martha) Lee, her sisters, Marlie (Geoff) Hurdle, Danielle (Jason) Culberson, her brother Trey (Stephanie) Chase, Nieces Morgann (Cameron) White, Erica Culberson (Jack Harmon), and SEVERAL other nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the parlor of Wilson Funeral Home Ft. Oglethorpe Chapel on Sunday March 30, 2025 from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m.
