Mr. Christopher Arnold HairstonEast Ridge, Tennessee

Christopher “Chris” Arnold Hairston age 59, of East Ridge, Tennessee passed away peacefully at his home. He was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee and was a lifelong resident of the Northwest Georgia and Chattanooga area. He was a graduate of Lakeview Fort Oglethorpe High School – Class of 1984 and earned his associates degree from Edmondson Junior College. He was a former employee of Durable Medical Equipment and had worked in automotive sales. Chris most recently worked for Mountain Creek Harley-Davidson in Dalton, Georgia as a service advisor. He enjoyed fishing, playing pool, darts and foosball. He was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide Fan “Roll Tide Roll.” He was of the Baptist faith and loved spending time with his family, ate dinner with his mother and aunt just about every night. He is preceded in death by his father: Loyd Dale Hairston. He is survived by his mother: Mary Stephens Castleberry, brother: Damon (Millie) Hairston, aunts: Shirley (Ronnie) Bryson, Ellen Plachner all of Ringgold, GA, uncle: Fred (Sondra) Stephens of Flat Top Mountain, TN, nieces: Ariana (Philip) Rayburn of Rossville, GA, Nina (Rickey) White of Cleveland, TN, nephews: Aaron Hairston of Atlanta, GA, Talon Hairston of Ringgold, GA, great nieces: Isabella Rayburn, Elodie White and great nephew: Sonny Rayburn, and several cousins. The family will receive friends Sunday from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm and Monday from 9:00 am until 11:00 am prior to the service. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am – Monday – December 15, 2025 in the chapel with his brother Damon Hairston officiating.
