Corey Lamar Blevins age 47, of LaFayette, Georgia, passed away on Monday, March 10, 2025. He was born in Dalton, Georgia and had resided most of his life in the LaFayette area. Corey was a graduate of LaFayette High School – Class of 1995. He was a former employee of Phillips Brothers Machine Shop as a welder. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. Corey was of the Christian faith. He is preceded in death by his wife: Amber Leah Everett Blevins, mother: Charlotte Ann Smith Blevins, step-brother: Jimmy Medley. He is survived by his son: Ethan (Madison) Blevins of LaFayette, GA, Haley (Tiffany) Blevins of Newport News, VA, father and step-mother: Tony (Linda) Blevins of LaFayette, GA, sister: Melisa Callahan of LaFayette, GA, step-sister: Marsha Allen of Dalton, GA, father-in-law and mother-in-law: Tony and Troyce Slay of Chickamauga, GA, grandchildren: Koleson, Berkley and Brooks Blevins, several nieces and nephews.
