Wilford Harm Roach, Sr., age 77, of Chickamauga, Georgia passed away at his home Sunday – June 8, 2025. He was born in LaFayette, Georgia to the late Henry Wyatt Roach and Dorothy Virgina Brown Roach. He was a longtime resident of Walker County, residing in Rossville, Kensington and Chickamauga. He worked at Wheland Foundry in Chattanooga for many years. He enjoyed working on and restoring antique cars. He was of the Baptist faith. He also enjoyed fishing and a occasional trip to Harrah’s Casino in Cherokee, N.C. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife: Sue Seabolt Roach, brothers: Henry “Buster” Roach, Larry Roach and Ricky Roach. He is survived by his sons: Wilford “Willie” H. (Becky) Roach, Jr., Allen (Amanda) Roach all of Chickamauga, GA, sisters: Virginia Roach of Chickamauga, Gail (Michael) Howard of Ringgold, GA, brothers: Eugene (Barbara) Roach of Ringgold, GA, Tony Roach of Chickamauga, Ga, Alex (Janet) Roach of LaFayette, GA, eight grandchildren: Phylicia Ramsey, Robby Ramsey, Alex Millsap, Hope, Susan, Jesse, Lizzy and Mary Roach, five great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Thursday from 10:00 am until the service. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm – Thursday – June 12, 2025 in the chapel. Burial will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens-South, Rossville, Georgia.
