Mrs. Cathy Denise RyanEast Ridge

Cathy Denise Martin Ryan age 58, of East Ridge, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2025. Cathy was born in East Lake, TN, to the late Kenneth Eugene and Jo Ann Turner Martin. She loved the Lord and a firm believer. She enjoyed many things in her life, just to name a few; collecting what knots, gnomes, unicorns, stuffed animals, especially angels, gardening and planting flowers. She really enjoyed talking on the phone, she never met a stranger, she was loved by everyone she came in contact with. She loved her dogs and the Tennessee Volunteers, and loved spending time with her family, her children and grandchildren were her world and she loved her husband with all her heart. She worked as a housekeeper and attended Action Church in East Ridge, Tennessee she will be missed by many. Along with her parents, Cathy is preceded in death by her daughter: Crystal Ann Carson and son: Michael Shane Ivey. She is survived by her husband: James Robert Ryan II of East Ridge, TN, their children: Sabrina (James) Ivey of Chattanooga, TN, Samantha Katrina (Daniel Clyde, Jr.) Derryberry of East Lake, TN, Glen Paul Townsend, Jr. of Chattanooga, TN, Kenneth Earl Martin of Chattanooga, TN, Tiffany Renee’ Ivey of Chattanooga, TN, brothers: Carl and David Martin of Lookout Valley, TN, grandchildren: Jonathan Taylor Ivey, Noah Shane Ivey, Izabella Ruth Ivey, Izaiah Thomas Ivey, Zaniel Lee Hall, Zayda Lee’Shanna Hall, Dakota Lee Townsend, Sawyer James Townsend, Rolan Jericho Townsend, Mark Gabriel Martin, Andrew Shawn Morgan, Joshua “Luke” Sawyer, Jansen Lee Phelps and Shawn Torrez, several nieces and nephews. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. - Monday– March 31, 2025 at Chattanooga National Cemetery with Pastor Daniel Beard officiating. Arrangements by W.L.
