Joyce Elaine Crane Roach age 76, of Chickamauga, Georgia passed away Monday – April 7, 2025. She was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee to the late James Crane and Jewel Cooper. She was a graduate of Lakeview High School – Class of 1966. Joyce was of the Baptist faith. She worked for many years with the Walker County Board of Education. She enjoyed reading, watching NASCAR and watching Alabama Football games. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband: Timothy Douglas Roach, their son: Rodney Shane Roach and her brother: Barry Crane. She is survived by her son: Kevin Schultz, daughter: Brandi (Mitchell) Gravley all of Chickamauga, GA, grandchildren: Micah Howell, Isaiah Howell, Kaiden Waller, Aria Gravley, Taylor Schultz, several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm and Thursday from 11:30 am until 12:30 pm. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm – Thursday – April 10, 2025 at Chattanooga National Cemetery. Arrangements by Wilson Funeral Homes – Chickamauga, Georgia.
