Mrs. Kathy Kaye Oglesby McCormick age 68, of Ringgold, Georgia went home to be with her Lord and Savior on May 13, 2024. She was a lifelong resident of Ringgold and attended Welcome Hill Baptist Church. Kathy enjoyed drawing, dancing and loved spending time in her flower gardens. Her most cherished time was spent reading her Bible and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter Oglesby and Dorothy Carter Oglesby; grandson, Brian Swiger, and brother-in-law, Charles McCormick.
Survivors include her husband of forty-four years, Billy McCormick; daughters, Christine (Kenny) Woodruff and Tina Bailey; siblings, Jack (Margaret) Oglesby, Linda (L.D.) Vaughn; granddaughter, Rachael Bailey, grandsons, James Swiger, Michael Swiger, Nicholas Woodruff, Cameron Bailey; thirteen great grandchildren, as well as nephew, Scotty (Kathleen) Vaughn.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
