Mrs. Patricia Lee ChambersChickamauga, GA

Patricia Lee Baldwin Chambers age 85, went home to be with The Lord on Monday, June 10, 2024. She was born in Hurley, Virginia to the late Arnold Baldwin and Nina Smith Baldwin McLemore. She spent her childhood in Virginia and attended the University of West Georgia. She was a former employee with Red Cross and retired from the Walker County Board of Education after thirty years, where she had worked as payroll clerk, insurance benefits and instructional services. Patricia loved The Lord and enjoyed serving with her husband in many local churches. She enjoyed traveling to National Parks camping, cooking, crocheting and shopping at Hobby Lobby. She was known best by her devotion to her husband, sons and grandchildren. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Chickamauga. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband: Paul Redfern Chambers. She is survived by their sons: Chris Chambers of Chattanooga, TN, Mark (Pam) Chambers of Chickamauga, GA, grandchildren: Ivy Kate (Adam) James, Grayson Chambers, Katherine (Riley) Sparks, sister: Peggy Schuler of West Virginia, several nieces and nephews. The family would like to express a sincere “Thank You” to Cassandra with Hearth Hospice for her wonderful care to Patricia. The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday and from 11:00 am until the service on Wednesday. A celebration of Patricia’s life will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, June 12, 2024 in the funeral home chapel with Ronnie Fleming officiating. Arrangements by Wilson Funeral Homes - J.
