Sharon Kathryn Shuttles Gasaway age 81, of Ringgold, Georgia passed away Saturday – September 20, 2025 in a local hospital. She was born in Birmingham, Alabama to the late Richard and Lois Kathryn Pyle Shuttles. Sharon spent her childhood in Alabama and had resided in the Chattanooga and northwest Georgia area for the past fifty years. She retired from Shaw Industries where she worked as a creeler in the tufting department at Plant 80. She was of the Baptist faith and had attended Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Ringgold, Georgia. Sharon enjoyed shopping, spending time with her children and especially her grandchildren. She was an avid fan of The Alabama Crismon Tide – “Roll Tide Roll.” Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband: Jackie Gasaway, Sr., and her granddaughter: Brandy Chambers. She is survived by her children: Donny (Jennifer) McGill of Ringgold, GA, Tammy Gasaway of Ringgold, GA, Kim (Mitch) Burnette of Dalton, GA, Jackie Gasaway, Jr., of Ringgold, GA, Richie (Jennifer) Gasaway of Chickamauga, GA, brother: Michael (Martha) Shuttles of Soddy Daisy, TN, a dear aunt: Barbara (Albert) Wilson of Rossville, GA, fourteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Tuesday – September 23, 2025 at the funeral home from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm. A graveside service will follow at 3:30 pm at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery, Ringgold, Georgia.
