Nancy Ann Wright Chambers
September 5, 1942 - June 28, 2024

Nancy Ann Wright Chambers, 81, of Rossville, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, June 28, 2024. She was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee on September 5, 1942 to the late, Roy & Jackie Wright and had lived in Fort Payne, Alabama before moving to the North Georgia area in 1973. She was a member of Kensington Church of God and retired from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee in 1997 after more than 25 years of service. She loved cooking, growing flowers, spending time with her family & friends and was a pianist and organist for many years. She was a loving and devoted sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend that will be truly missed by all who knew her. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Don Preston Chambers; son, Rev. Dennis Wayne Chambers; grandsons, Lance Corporal Will Chambers and Aaron Lee Headrick; brother, Donald Wright and sister, Loretta Bain.

Survivors include her children & spouses, Patsy Darlene & (Bobby) Baker, Denise Jayne & (John) Headrick and Darrell Craig & (Kim) Chambers; daughter-in-law, Sondra Kay Chambers; brother & sister-in-law, Jerry & (Judy) Wright; sister-in-law, Willodean Wright; 10 grandchildren & spouses, Chad & (Amber) Baker, Rachel & (Al) Dodson, Jeremy & (Heather) Headrick, Caleb & (Daisha) Headrick, Allison McGee, Shane Chambers, Summer Chambers, Tara & (John) Fridley, Sonya Chambers and Tyler & (Lyndsey) Chambers; 15 great-grandchildren, Brodie Baker, Avery Baker, Bonnie Dodson, Aaron Headrick, Jacob Headrick, Blake Parker, Madison Chambers, Kaeven McGee, Nahla McGee, Hunter Chambers, Ayden Rodriguez, Alexza Rodriguez, Miranda Fridley, Sarah Fridley and Wesley Fridley; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family & friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 2, 2024 in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel with Rev. Philip Bain and John Headrick officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakewood South Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2~8 p.m. on Monday and prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
