Norman L. Anderson, 84, passed away peacefully in his home. He was born and raised in Athens, TN. His parents were Arrants and Lena Anderson and he was the oldest of 4 children.
Norman worked for Bowater for many years before retiring. He loved working in his yard and took pride in having a beautiful lawn and flowers. Norman has affectionately passed this trait on to his son and grandson. He never met a stranger and was loved by all in his current neighborhood along with many past areas that he and his wife lived.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Daris; great grandson, Kyler Anderson.
Survivors include his son, Tim (Ann) Anderson; brother, Dennis (Donna) Anderson; sisters, Alma (Jerry) Robb and Janice Martin; 2 grandchildren, Brandon (Whitney) Anderson and Darby Anderson; 6 great grandchildren, Kelsey, Addi, Kason, Brax, Cade and Karter Anderson; several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Sunday July 30th at 3:00 with the Pastor Neal Brown officiating.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:00 till the funeral hour at 3:00pm at Lane Funeral Home and Crematory South Crest Chapel, Rossville, GA.
