Novene Kelley, age 86, of LaFayette passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2024.
She was a member of Dry Creek Baptist Church and worked for 30 years at Beaulieu Carpet in Dalton.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Charles Kelley and Raymond Morrison; parents, Henry Tucker and Fannie Walls Tucker; brothers, Russell Tucker, Mack Tucker, Edward Tucker, Ross Tucker, Jay Tucker, Richard “Sonny” Tucker, and Pete Tucker; sisters, Marie (George) Corbin and Lucille (Felton) Rogers; and several nieces and nephews.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Shirley Tucker; several nieces and nephews; and several grand-nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, August 16, in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel with Pastor Charles Lee officiating.
Interment will take place at LaFayette Memory Gardens.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, August 15, at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
