Ollie Elvesta Cook Quinn, 102 of Fort Oglethorpe, passed away on Friday, August 18, 2023. She was a lifelong resident of the North Georgia area and of the Christian faith. Ms. Ollie had a backbone of steel and an iron will to endure well. She seldom complained and spread joy to all that she came in contact with. Ms. Ollie enjoyed reading and singing and was a wonderful wife and mother. She finished well, as she was always singing Amazing Grace, in her later years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Clade Quinn Sr.; son, Jack Claud Quinn Jr.; parents, Virgil and Hester Cook; as well as three sisters and four brothers. Survivors include her daughters, Pat Monypenny and Connie Quinn Lusk; grandchildren, Mitch, Greg, Reggie, Shannon, Cathy, Brian, Melanie, Kristin; thirteen, great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 in the funeral home chapel.
