Patricia Carol Parrish Roark
Patricia Carol Parrish Roark, age 80 of Chickamauga, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 21, 2024. She was born in Chickamauga to the late Deed Elder Parrish and Ruby Belle Duncan Parrish, was a lifelong resident of Chickamauga and was of the Christian Faith. Patricia, with her husband, Charles Henry Roark traveled and sang with the Eternal Way Gospel Singers, a Southern Gospel Quartet, when they were younger and served as the pianist and organist for several local churches since the age of 15. She was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt and friend who will be greatly missed. Patricia was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Henry Roark; daughter, Pamela Michelle Roark; and siblings, Doris Caldwell, Harold Parrish, and Betty Munro. She is survived by her loving children, Charles Todd (Irma) Roark, Timothy Deon (Heather) Roark, and Terrell Scott Roark; grandchildren, Andrew Bittmann, Isabella Roark, Jacob Roark, and Hudson Adams; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, January 26, 2024 in the funeral home chapel, with Pastor Zach Fitzpatrick officiating. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memorial Gardens-South. The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday and prior to the service on Friday. In Lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial contributions be made to Elizabeth Lee Methodist Church food pantry at 139 Cove Rd.
