Patricia Diane Denton, 72, of Chickamauga, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2025. Pat was born in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, on December 17, 1953, to Robert and Margaret Denton. She was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga Valley and Northwest Georgia and was a Baptist. Pat enjoyed playing and coaching softball and made a significant impact on the lives of many athletes she coached. She enjoyed “yard sales.” Whether she was selling or looking for a great bargain, she loved it all. Pat loved people and always tried to be a peacemaker. She was loving and kind, always willing to help others. Pat dearly loved her son, Shaun, and her family. She was loved by everyone who knew her, and she will be greatly missed.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Gordon and Margaret Ester Denton; brothers, Bobby Denton, Fat Denton, Charles Denton, and Wayne Denton; and sister, Phyllis Black.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Shaun McIntosh of Chickamauga, Georgia; sisters, Sheila Gillespie, Juanita Davis, both of Chickamauga, Georgia, and Ann Chavis of Rossville, Georgia; brother, Wesley Denton; and several much-loved nieces and nephews.

The family invites friends and loved ones to join us on Monday, December 15, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to remember and honor Pat. The funeral service will be held immediately after the visitation at 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 15, 2025, with Pastor David O'Neal officiating. Following the funeral service, we will proceed to Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park in Rossville, Georgia, for the burial. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
