Patricia Lavonne Davenport Owen, 70, of Rossville, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, May 28, 2023. She was born in LaVergne, Tennessee on February 13, 1953 to the late, James Davenport and Myrtle Louise Lawson and had lived in the Rossville, Georgia area for most of her life. She was of the Baptist faith and was previously employed with Parkside for more than 25 years. She had a true passion for reading & studying her bible, she loved planting her flowers, being outdoors and feeding hummingbirds. She was a loving and devoted mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend that will be truly missed by all who knew her. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Edwin Owen; sisters, Carlene Payne and Darlene Lawson; brother, Billy Lawson and son-in-law, Mark Miller.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Tracey Miller, Phillip & (Crystal) Owen, Jackie & (Trent) Nichols and Terry Owen; brother, Tommy Lawson; sisters, Charlene Smith and Marlene Lawson; 8 grandchildren, Andy Miller, Maegan Miller, Michael Evans, Sarah Glover, Sean Glover, Christopher Glover, Cody Owen and Erica Apostol; several great-grandchildren; and numerous extended family & friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, June 2, 2023 in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel.
Burial will follow in the Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park. Billy Morrison, Stephen Tate, Pete Tate, Damon Snow, Phillip Owen and Tommy Lawson will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 4 ~ 8 p.m. on Thursday and prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.
