January 12, 1942 - July 6, 2025
Patricia “Pat” Ann Clark Wilson, age 83, of Ringgold, Georgia, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 6, 2025. Born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Pat and Homer had made Ringgold their home since 1972. She was a member of New Friendship Baptist Church and found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She especially loved watching television—The Price is Right and Gunsmoke were among her favorites. A passionate Atlanta Braves fan for many years, Pat shifted her allegiance to Kansas City football after the trade of Freddie Freeman. Above all, Pat cherished the time she spent with her family. Her greatest joy came from being surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Claudius M. Clark and Willie Mae Shell Clark; sister, Dorothy Williams; brother, Claudie Clark; and her son-in-law, Wendall Cooper.
Left to treasure her memory are her loving husband of 66 years, Homer L. Wilson; children, Vicky (Bill) Waters, Patti Cooper, and Jim (Gwen) Wilson; brothers, Raymond (Rachael) Clark and Joe (Pam) Clark; grandchildren, B.J., Jessica, Josey, Jeremiah, Lynndi, Maylee, Kaine, Hunter, and Carter; along with twelve beloved great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Beautiful Greenwood Cemetery in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Online guestbook and condolences may be shared at www.wilsonfuneralhome.com. Arrangements by Wilson Funeral Homes, Wallis–Stewart Chapel, Ringgold, Georgia.
