Robert Paul Ireland 96 of Rossville passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2023. Paul was born April 12, 1927 in Rossville to the late James Franklin and Sally Ann Hensley Ireland. He was a lifelong resident of the Rossville, GA area and member of Rossville First Church of the Nazarene. He retired from Blue Cross Blue Shield TN after 42 years of service. Paul loved serving in the church and was the treasurer for many years. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and church family at his Lakeside Home in Alabama.

He is preceded in death by his siblings, Ralph Ireland, Lewis Ireland, Betty Ireland Verzyl and Eileen Ireland McCoy.

Survivors include his loving wife of 72 years, Arvenia Ireland; sons, Robert P. Ireland Jr. and Stanley M. Ireland; grandchildren, Laura Ireland Walker, Sarah Ellen Ireland, Mark Ireland, Anna Grace Ireland Sessions and Beth Ireland; great-grandson, Boyd Ellison Walker; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2 PM, Sunday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Mark Tipton, David Verzyl and John Cannon speaking. Interment will be at Plowman Cemetery in Apison, TN.
