Paul "Pete" Maxey Obituary
Paul Lewis “Pete” Maxey, affectionately known as Daddy to his daughters, PawPaw to his grandkids, Uncle Pete to his nieces and nephews, or Candyman to those he drove the big trucks with, left his earthly home and entered into Heaven Monday, May13th at age 83.
His wife of 45 years, Sandy Maxey, preceded him in death along with a son, Kenny and grandson Jonathan.
He is survived by daughters Kim Maxey and Karen Maxey Littlejohn, son-in-law Will Littlejohn, and grandson Prestin Maxey. Other survivors include brothers (sisters) in law Michael (Donna) Bell and Steve (Susie) Bell. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 15, in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel.
The burial will be at the City of LaFayette Cemetery.
Visitation will be held prior to the service on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the service hour at the funeral home.
