Phillip Eugene Alexander, age 53, of Chattanooga, went to be with the Lord on December 22, 2025. Phillip had lived most of his life in the Crandall area before making Chattanooga his home in 2017. He was of the Christian faith.
Phillip was an avid Florida Gators fan and had a lifelong love of NASCAR, especially cheering on Jeff Gordon. He enjoyed fishing and had a deep appreciation for 1980s rock music, with Poison being played the loudest.
He is Preceded in death by his grandparents Sarah & Troy Ford; Corabelle & Marcus Banks; and aunt Marilyn Smith.
Phillip is survived by his children Blake (Erin) Alexander, Bethany Alexander; mother Carolyn Ford; father Reece Banks; sisters Dareth (Garry) Broome, and Mary “Sissy” Alexander; aunts Cathy Hunkapiller, Nancy Smith and Faye Shelton. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews and extended family.
A meemorial gathering will be held on Thursday January 15, 2026 in the parlor of the funeral home with pastor Justin Gazaway closing in message.
