Ralph Miller Wynne
September 19, 1934 - July 11, 2023

Ralph Miller Wynne, 88 of Ringgold, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, July 11, 2023. He was born in South Pittsburg, Tennessee, resided in Riverdale, Georgia for many years, and has lived in Ringgold for the last seventeen years. Ralph attended Rock Bridge Community Church and proudly served in the United States Army, Tennessee National Guard and was a member of the American Legion Post 40 in Ringgold, Georgia. He is a former member of Riverdale Church of God and was the former pastor of South East Atlanta Church of God in the 1970s. In the 1990s, Ralph was on WJAH in Jonesboro, Georgia with his tv show, Open Door for Christ.” During his free time, he was a volunteer minister to nursing homes in the Atlanta area as well as NHC of Ringgold, and he enjoyed being outdoors, his cat, Sam, and feeding birds. He is preceded in death by his parents, George Clarence Wynne and Frances Louise Hillard Wynne; son, Ralph Wynne Jr., brother, Reuben Wynne, and sister, Mavis Bennett. Ralph is survived by his wife of 70 years, Josephine “Jo” Foster Wynne; daughters, Angela (Eddie) Combs, Marilyn (Dee) D’elia-Russell; sister, Ellen Trotter; grandsons, Jeremy A. Hannah, Russell (Adrienne) D’Elia; great grandson, Nicholas D’Elia, as well as numerous extended family, close friends and neighbors. The family will receive friends on Friday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 14, 2023 in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Anderson Memorial Gardens. Online guest book at www.wilsonfuneralhome.com.
